Pre-Production Documentation
Proposal/treatments/project outlines- A brief overview of problems, solutions, cost, benefits and issues.
Production Schedule- Tells you what production things you need to do in that time frame. Contingency plan
SWOT Analysis- Tells you Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats.
Asset log- Props sources and logs ( Things you need to make a product)
Call sheet- A call sheet tells you the time and place to be to begin production it also tells you the type of production and what members of the production team will be there
Risk assessment-(Recces) A risk assessment is a form that tells you the possible dangers and how to avoid them.
Storyboard- Tells you a layout of a story and how it goes. Tells you how longs a shot it on screen for it also shows scene number.
Script-Shows you what characters say and at what time. On a script it would tells us where non- diegetic sound or diegetic sounds are being played
Shooting script- For the director and cameraman and lets them know where to film. Shows us when to film
Concept art- Concept art is a form of illustration used to convey an idea for use in films, video game, animation, comic books, or other media before the realises of the final product. Texture, Movement.
Visualisation diagram- Shows you what a product will look like at the end of production, Annotation, house style, colour, Shape, Font, position and layout.
Flat plan/Wireframe- Shows you a layout and design of a website Shows the same thing as a visualisation diagram but also includes navigation also has a header and footer and picture place holder. Text place holders.
Prototype- Early model on what a product is going to look like.
Page mock-up- Final product which looks very similar on what it will look like. specifically made for newspaper and magazine
Set design- Set designers create the overall look of a theme, Television or film production.
