Mind mapping

Mind mapping allows you to take your ideas and organise them into a structured visual diagram it allows you to understand many ideas and points easily while also allowing more ideal brainstorming while they are convenient and allow concise information they can also be time consuming and can have some text limitations as you need to follow the same template each time which doesn’t offer variety 

Mood boards 

Are fluid and can be done both digitally and not. They can also help make collaborations more easier and are time saving however working working with a client means that they might not know what to do and choose the wrong things or sometimes that might not know what at inspiration board even is.

Blue-sky thinking

Blue sky thinking allows people in groups to think of lots brainstorming between people with this you can forward any answer meaning it is quick and can save a lot of time because it allows everyone to use their knowledge. Bad however because you could miss some details as it is quick 

Swot analysis

Good because its easy to understand and there is also detail as it gives different section so its all covered but you need to write down all of the ideas which can take a while meaning it can be a waste of time. Another advantage is that it helps create contingency plans.
